My Life

I’ve Upgraded My Site’s URL!

Hey folks! Check out your address bar. See something new??? YUP! To end 2008, Luvvie’s Random Rants has upgraded from (http://liffy.blogspot.com) to a new URL www.awesomelyluvvie.com. If you’ve linked me on your blog, you don’t have to change your link because it will automatically redirect it.

Let’s take a swig of celebration for new things and upgrades! (I accept Bailey’s through mail too. Hit me up at [email protected]).

Edit: When typing in the new URL, you must type the www in the front for you to see my page. just typing awesomelyluvvie.com is not redirecting folks. Booooo to GoDaddy. I’m trying to figure out why this is. Any tech geeks who could be of help, do let me know.

And it deleted my “If these Blogs were Crack” list. Now I must peruse my Google Reader to update them. Hang with me, folks.

Edit #2: Yayyyy the www issue has been fixed. AWESOMELYLUVVIE.com is here to stay!!

Hey Reggie. Blogger still hosts my blog, but I’m no longer a slave to the old name and folks dont have to type in blogspot to find me anymore.

    And THANKS!!

Even though it has already updated the problem, here is why it did this:

When you buy a domain, you need to wait 24-48 hours for it to fully propagate before you can use the domain without the www. So, until it has done that, you need to leave the www because the server does not yet recognize the domain name without the www. It’s kinda weird…but that is how the internet works.

Yet another useless fact from me.
