Are you going to be in Chicago during the Blogging While Brown Conference? Well, on June 20th, the Red Pump Project is having a meetup in honor of the Beauty Blogger extraordinaire, Afrobella. Bella just moved to Chicago from Miami, and we’re welcoming her to our city of Wind.

About The Red Pump Project
The Red Pump Project is an initiative to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls, both directly and indirectly.
Created by Karyn and I, it began as a blog initiative on March 10th, 2009. We got 125 bloggers to “Rock the Red Pump” widget on their blogs to speak out about the issue of HIV/AIDS. It is now a national initiative with 16 ambassadors in 14 states, that are doing work on the ground and online to ensure that women are empowered with knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the issues surrounding it.
