Awesome Announcements
There has been so much negativity in the world lately and good news and smiles have been few and far between. My hope is that everyone who reads my blog walks away smiling. If that happens, I have made it! So I bring you greetings of joy, with the following announcements.
My peoples. First off, my “Dear BET” letter set a record for most comments ever made on my little House on the Prairie intrawebs, with 80 comments. iHeart you ALL for all the compliments and the kudos. Y’all made this little brown girl blush. *HUGS my AWESOME readers!* An eFamily that roasts together, stays together. The letter was also posted to The Snob Blog. Thanks, Black Snob!!!
New features on Awesomely Luvvie
New comment system: As the folks who commented the other day saw, I have a plugin that allows you to directly reply under someone’s comment, so it looks like a thread. This is my way of spreading out a welcome mat to you all. I love your comments. Keep them coming.
Search: You can now search my blog for any terms. If I’ve written about it, you will find it. Check it out to the right, to the right.
Sisterhood of the Traveling Luvvie
For the next week and a half, I’m a traveling fool. First, I’m going to Vegas with my girls for our annual 4th of July trip. What happens in Vegas, ends up on Facebook Stays in Vegas. I promise to act as good as I know how. o_O. Then, I’m off to Texas with the fam for a 3-day party next week. What this all means is that I may not update AweLuv as regularly as I usually do (if at ALL). If I do update, it means something ridiculous happened that I just HAD to share.
And umm… have you voted for my blog in the Black Weblog Awards? I even wrote a heartfelt speech here begging for your vote. If I win, I’ll upload a video of my infamous *wall slide*. Sho nuff.

Well, I'm happy that you've set records!! Do it big fellow alum- I wanna be like you when I grow up! I hope that you have a wonderful vacation, and I'm sure that we'll cope without your personal brand of IG (for a few days at least), since many of us have our own (I like to call mine igonometry- it's the math in me!).
