Hey AweLuvvers. Can We Talk?
You ALREADY know that any conversation that starts like that is not going to end well. But umm… AweLuvvers (my beloved readers), can we talk for a minute?
*Sighs* Aight, take a seat. You want some water? Tea? Coffee? House of Dereon complimentary snuggie with bedazzled neck? NO? Aight fine.
Wells, I’ve been tah’d lately. My soulspace has been weary. I’m shonuff blessed by HIM ABOVE! But I ain’t gon tell bald-headed lies or play games of those persuasion and say I’m ain’t stressed. Seems that being an overachiever is starting to catch up to me, and yours truly may need a break to rock back and fo’th in the corner and *WALL SLIDE* with reckless abandon just for sh*ts and giggles.
So *looks around nervously* *twists shirt bottom* *rocks in chair a little*
What I’m tryna say is… what would y’all say if I took a blog break? No, not a couple of days. Or a week. But the whole month of December. And there won’t be guest bloggers or anything. Just an abandoned eCrib with tumbleweeds and gusts of wind intermittently. Maybe I may leave y’all with links of old posts to check out if you’re new.
I regularly blog 3 times a week. My blog break would mean for folks not to expect any updates. I MAY drop a post or two randomly if a topic moved me so much, I had to write about it. But the 3/week won’t happen.
So tell me. Whatcha’ll think about this proposed break? Will it force you to do work at work? Do you *WALL SLIDE* at the thought? Will you take over the world in your newfound state of productivity since my foolery won’t distract you?
It’s not you. It’s me. We’ll work it out in the New Year. 2010 will be a HOOT here! New look is coming and errthang! Besides, it’d give me a chance to regroup and come back with a vengeance, and an abundance of backed up IGnificence.
Hmm… but y’all know I’m fickle so I could probably be convinced to take a shorter break if I get good bribes. I’ve already been offered an unlimited amount of cooked rice. Who can top that?
BTW, IF I decided to take a blog break though, this ain’t my last post. I’ll announce it so I can make a dramatical speech and eCry and *WALL SLIDE* properly. This is just a survey post. So SPEAK NOW or forever hold your hairhat.
LET ME REPEAT. This ain’t my last post before the break. I’ll let you all know. Will happen next week sometime once I decide.

I understand taking a blog break. Updating 3 times a week isn't really that hard. Updating 3 times a week with quality material? That's tough. And you always have quality material so you deserve a blog break. I don't want it to happen… but I understand. You'll come back right? THIS IS JUST A BREAK RIGHT?! I'm getting a little hysterical. I better go. I'll miss you. *tear*

However, while you are enjoying your break….you cannot, I repeat CANNOT take a break from twitter. If you attempt it, I will hex random rice paddies into dried-up extinction for every day I notice you aren't tweeting. *Try Me* o_O

Yea, Luvvie by all means take a break. I'll be doing the same. I'm going to stop posting for a little while in December. I haven't decided on the dates but it's coming soon. Sometimes, you just get a little worn out and need to take a break so you can come back better than ever.

Although I just found your blog (thanks to Listen to Leon), I say that if you need to take a break, go ahead and do so. I do suspect that in your absence House of Dareon bedazzled onsie sales will skyrocket. While you are 'away' I'll be practicing my *wallslide*.

I think you should take one… Not an overly extended blog break but something where you can recoup and just do what you have to. This time of year can be very stressful and it does take a lot out of you, so you should just sit back and relax. Christmas and New Years is right around the corner.. Add to that though you won't be blogging you still have twitter! And unless you excommunicate yourself from the digital world entirely we'll still get dosage of Luvvie on a regular basis.. Now if you said you'd drop twitter and the blog thats when I'll have to call out the forces of Queen Bey and her Swarovski encrusted onesie and personally cyber stalk you till you give up and return.. but since that's not the case we good to go! Handle your handle honey!
