In DC for the weekend
As you read this, I’ll be on the Amtrak train on my way to the Blogging While Brown Conference, where I’m speaking on a panel. Afrobella and I decided to take a train because neither one of us has ever taken one long distance. Armed with backpacks full of snacks, pillows, blankets and a flip cam to document the adventure, we’re excited! This trip promises to be epic. She’s apparently bringing a leopard snuggie too. Trust. This will be GOOD.
My DC folks… I’m throwing a Red Pump event with the ladies of Blogalicious on Saturday. If you’re in town, stop by and come “Say Red” with us. Ladies, as always, Rock those Red Pumps. Fellas, Rock your Red Ties.
Shoutout to me for not realizing that i was low on business cards until this week. That’s another blog for another day.

Really enjoyed the conference and the conversations surrounding social media, technology and how it can all come together by sharing the knowledge with each other.
