The Random Things Folks Search to Find My Blog (and a Giveaway)

Google Search

My readers are some of the funniest and wittiest people on the innerwebs (yes you are), and my comments STAY making me cackle. But y’all are also mightly ratchet. How do I know? Because of the way some of your found this blog. Google has been semi-kind to me, sending me traffic when people search. How do I know? Well, Google Analytics informed me as to the phrases people have searched and landed here. Some of these are:

  • Erykah Badu assIt is indeed quite impressive.
  • ashanti’s sideburns – FOR REAL? I went there? *sigh* I mean, they ARE thick
  • Jesus had haters – He sho’ll did. The rest of us, on the other hand, O__o
  • camel toe’s ugly cousin – WTF?!? Whose paw print did I talk about? iCan’t with myself.
  • should grown men wear shorts – Yes, as long as they aren’t the ones that touch the ankles
  • antoine dodson fan club – iLOVE Antoine!
  • nigerians make it rain in parties – We do. We made it rain before hip hop told folks to.
  • glover’s mane hair grease – An essential for any successful conk

All this tells me that I’m ratchet as hell because for any of these to result in folks finding Awesomelyluvvie.com is a complete mess. This can’t be my legacy. IS IT??? LAWDDD!!! That’s a mess. *WALL SLIDE*

So this leads to my next giveaway. Winner of this giveaway wins a copy of one of my FAVORITE books EVER! I think the book that made me laugh out loud if ” A Day Late, Dollar Short” by Terry McMillian, not sure if it’s considered humor, but it was hilarious.

The funniest book I ever read was a hood book. Its so unrealistic. Everybody in the hood is not cute with a bad body dating the top hustler.

I been subscribed for a lil’ minit… and the funniest book I’ve ever read was *Daisy Fay and the Miracle Man* by Fannie Flagg (yes, the 70’s/80’s gameshow staple Fannie Flagg…not that you’d remember that seeing as you weren’t borned yet.)

The internal dialogue of the main character had me rolling!

The funniest book I have ever read would have to be, “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man” by Steve Harvey…mom suggested I read it and I truly laughed all the way through the book. If the advice was coming from someone else it wouldn’t have been so laughable.

Erasure by Percival Everett.. but I will admit that it’s sort of an acquired taste.

I just re-subscribed to make sure I am actually on your list as subscribed..

I think one of the funniest books I ever read has got to be Emil and the Detectives…it was an awesome read! But had lots of great laughs.

The Broke Diaries is definitely in my top books. I remember getting it from the You of I library and renewing it countless times, just so I could keep it forever. You might say I learned a thing or two from Ms. Nissel.

One of the funniest books I’ve (kinda) read is “He’s Just Not That Into You.” I found it funny because a-Women need a book to tell them that? And b- He’s so blunt, it makes you question why you bought it. I didn’t though. So I laughed.

Like Arthur ‘nem said, “Having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got a library card.”
