I was on the Twitter, minding my own business when a twitpic came across my timeline. @Chromeo was at an airport when he saw an older couple who were dressed to the NINES so he tweeted their pic. Behold:
Uncle Rufus and Aunty Opal (what I’ve named them) are slaying hoes (geriatric or otherwise) effortlessly! They better come through and GIVE!!!
How dope are they? Let’s start off with Aunty Opal. Getchu a piece of her bright yellow flats. YESSSS!!! She better follow the new bright color trend! Shoo… Betchu she’s had those since like 1959 too. What’s old is new again. With those stockings? Chile, you better come on, Aunty! And that Giraffe bag? Absolutely. I’d rock the heck outta that tote! Her carry on is flyer than the airplane. Shoo…
Plus her hair is in a solid bun with cute hair accessory and she’s sitting there like “Who gon check me, boo???” Not nobody, Aunty O. Not nary person!
And don’t be sleep on Uncle Rufus over there. Y’all see him in all tan/brown everything? First of all, I’m a hat freak, and Uncah’s fedora got me geeked. His hat matches his suit (with that brown shirt underneath? YES INDEED! And his suit matches his square-toed dress shoes. SIT UP THERE AND TELL ME UNCLE RUFUS AIN’T FRESHER THAN SPRING RAIN AFTER FEBREZE! And bounce laundry sheets. Sit up there and tell me.
