So blessings rain down on me continuously and I just want to do all types of church scoots. God is clearly doing the wop and the cabbage patch in my life AS WE SPEAK! That’s the only explanation I got for it. What happened this time?
Wells… The Black AIDS Institute, one of the leading organizations who do HIV/AIDS work in the U.S., published a report in June to commemorate the 30th anniversary of HIV. They picked 30 young leaders under the age of 30 to feature and get essays from and I’m one of them.
*does the wop*
I found the hard copy in Atlanta when I went to the CDC National Prevention Conference. Well, Karyn found it and showed it to me.
I’m just like WOW!!! Here’s a pic of it:
And I gotta say, I’m humbled. This report features folks like Jurnee Smollett, Hydeia Broadbent and Marvelyn Brown. How did I get in this? Seriously. When Karyn and I came up with the idea of Red Pump, we never expected this type of feedback and honors. We’re blown away and really appreciate the support folks give us and continue to give us.
Blessings. Just straight up BLESSINGS!
If you’d like to view the online version, go HERE. I’m on pages 43 and 45.
Blessings are raining down on me! I’m so thankful!
God, you rule!
P.S. Yes I gave my mama a copy.
