Google AdSense is a Hater And They Disabled My Account

So a couple of weeks ago, I got an automated email from Google AdSense saying:

“After reviewing our records, we’ve determined that your AdSense account poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due to invalid activity, we’ve found it necessary to disable your AdSense account. Your outstanding balance and Google’s share of the revenue will both be fully refunded back to the affected advertisers.”

Wait. Wayment. Google AdSense, y’all are saying I was clicking my own ads??? WHAAA??? Who got the time to do all’at? I’ve never even told my readers to click my ads. If they do, fine. If they don’t that’s also fine. I take personal affront to this. I live an honest life. I try not to snatch wigs that don’t deserve snatching. Plus only thing I steal is my neighbor’s wifi if mine goes down. I LIVE RIGHT!

AND they aren’t paying me my remaining balance. For realsies?!? This some ol’ boolsheet! I AIN’T E’EM DID NOTHING!!! Owe me back, AdSense! OWE ME BACK MY MONIES!

I appealed the decision and I wait. And have been for like 3 weeks. And get this… if they rule against me and keep saying I’m the one clicking my ads, then that’s it. No more adsense for me. EVER.

Google AdSense is a Hater

No justice no peace. (-___-)

Thankfully, I’m a part of 3 other ad networks so I’m not as salty as I would be if they were the only way I was generating dereon dollars on this blog. But still…

Google AdSense is a big ol’ hater. (-___-) I really wanna call them “Hater Bishes” but that might not help my case much.

P.S. If y’all wanna #OccupyMySidebar and advertise on my blog, email me at Luvvieblog@gmail.com for rates.

Update: Google AdSense denied my appeal. *throws tomatoes*

    PFFFT.
    Ain’t it?

Google Adsense disabled my account about a year ago because they found out I’m under 18. Aye. That is AGE DISCRIMINATION!
But besides my personal problems that don’t get sympathy. I have added #ChangeForLuvvie to my Twitter bio in your honor.

LOLLL @ you, Krista. I didn’t know you were under 18. Yeah they snatched your account proper. How old are you?

Also, aaawww at changing your Twitter bio. You are too good to me!

      • October 13, 2011 at 10:30 pm

… I just had to think of my age for a second. e__e Pray for me.
        But I’m 17~

Don’t they need proof? How did they come up with the idea of you messing with the system without numbers to back it up?
I mean, it can’t just be because people click the ads then not buy, can it? Let the people window shop, dangit!

**mental pic of you sitting at home on the couch, watching Everest commercials, clicking your ads while twirling a (borrowed) evil mustache**

How much to put up a pic of Piggy’s Patented MeanFace on your sidebar? Just sayin. Help me help you, boo.

  6. October 13, 2011 at 9:44 pm

Now what are they offering up as proof that you did something wrong? Makes no sense smh

Well, sadly I can relate to the Google email. Yes, I too had my account disabled! This was years ago and I still haven’t recovered from the tragedy. But I couldn’t even protest ole ugly- butt Google because it was my momma (may she rest in peace) who went on a clicking spree so “her baby could make some money”. So momma helped her baby collect a total of $42 dollars and then I got hit….. the Google email came. They disabled my account. I protested. And still, no adsense for me…ever.

Girl. I feel your pain. I had a google account disabled too. I have a blog that I DON’T EVEN PUBLICIZE. Random folks found it. Over 3 months I made 23 dollars. So they disabled my account. I didn’t even bother to contest it.

    #OccupymyWallet though? o_O

That sucks, but it’s why diversifying is so necessary. I know another blogger this happened to a well 🙁

  11. October 14, 2011 at 8:51 am

That SUCKS. But honestly, this is the first “Occupy” protest that actually has a tangible cause, so I am sitting in my living room floor right now with a sign in support of your cause.

  12. October 14, 2011 at 10:45 am

First, I didn’t know Google did this. Second, thanks for sharing this information in such a humorous manner. I support your occupy mission fully.

  13. October 17, 2011 at 12:27 pm

This is precisely why I chose not to participate in allowing advertising on my tiny blog. They can giveth, then snatcheth away. I hope you get a positive resolution. Love your musings by the way :0)

**CLICKING FEVERISHLY ON EVERY AdSense AD I SEE TO SUPPORT MY FELLOW BLOGGERS…E’EN THOUGH I MAY NOT WANT/NEED/LIKE CLICKED ON PRODUCT** IN YO’ FACE GOOGLE!

    • October 18, 2011 at 11:58 am

🙁 not clicking…..I thought that would be supporting, but now I know better!

I am so sorry that you had to go through this. It is horrible that disabling your account could come by someone being vindictive. I am thinking that Google has to find another way to combat this bs.

The crazy part is like OP, I was explaining to my mother the other day, how this whole thing works. She was like “oh that’s easy so all I have to do is click on your ads?” I was like “NOOOOOOOOOOOOO don’t do it, Google will disable me”. I laughed but I am definitely going to send her this article so she can read it.

      Hi Carla,

I am confused. Isn’t the point of the ads for people to click on them? Isn’t that how the advertisers get the traffic?

Google is starting to seriously fret me with their rackets.

  17. December 12, 2012 at 2:11 pm

It happened to me too before I even got the chance to post any ads. Of course they aren’t going to be fair, but Google is all about their bottom dollar so they will cheat millions of innocent users out of their hard work and money.

Since they are such a large corporation, of course they will get away with it as the can basically bribe the BBB or anyone who is in position to bring justice to them.

    Just keeping it real.

    Luvvie,

I just stumbled on this post. Did you ever get it resolved? I had the same problem where Google disabled my account AND denied my appeal. They said to provide proof that it wasn’t an invalid activity. How the hell am I supposed to do that? I can’t even tell who’s clicking it!
