I’m Speaking at BlogHer with Issa Rae, Chescaleigh and Dr. Goddess!

[ 5 ] July 30, 2012 |

This week, I’m headed to New York City to speak at BlogHer 2012, and I’m super excited! This is my second time and I’m just as geeked as I was 2 years ago. In 2010, I moderated the “Humor Writing Lab” with Lizz Winstead (co-creator of the Daily Show) and Jessica Bern. I GOT MY LIFE with that panel and blogged about it here. Both of those ladies are hilarity personified and I had a blast.

This time, I’m on a panel with some of the wittiest ladies I know and couldn’t be happier. I’ll be joining Issa Rae (Awkward Black Girl), Chescaleigh (Sh*t White Girls Say to Black Girls) and Dr. Goddess on “Strategic Content Development Across Multiple Media: Onstage, Onscreen, and Online” aka “How we’re funny all over the place.”

We’ll be talmbout how we manage to bring our personalities and all our funny across various platforms.

BlogHer Strategic Content

We’re up on Friday, August 3 from 1:15-2:30pm. You use the hashtag #BH12FunContent to keep up with our panel if you can’t make it. And make sure to follow my fellow panelists on Twitter: @IssaRae @Chescaleigh @DrGoddess. And me too, of course: @Luvvie.

Much love to Chescaleigh for creating the COOL graphic there! In case you didn’t know, she’s also a dope graphic designer.

Also a cool fact? Our panel is RIGHT after Martha Stewart’s lunch keynote. WHOOP!!!

So if you’re going to BlogHer, come to our panel! It’s guaranteed good times! :-D

Any of my readers going to the conference?
