My Life

UPS Sucks! They Have the Worst Service and Employees!

I’m angry.

UPS is the worst and their customer service is atrocious. I am BEYOND livid and have been for the past 2 hours. So lemme explain why.

First of all, two weeks ago, I was expecting a package and realized I should have gotten it. I go check the tracking number and it says it was delivered to my front door. Ummm… the lie detector showed… THAT WAS A LIE. I get packages delivered all the time and it’s never to my front door because I live in an apartment building. They get left in the lobby, typically. And I never received that package. There were other packages in the lobby that day and none were mine. I called them and they started some investigation that I HAVE STILL NOT HEARD FROM THEM ABOUT. It’s been almost 2 weeks. O__O

UPS oops

Then I ordered a couple of more things online and this time, I went to UPS.com and entered their tracking numbers so I can get notifications on the packages sent to my inbox. Yesterday, I get one that says they tried to deliver my package and my name isn’t listed on my apartment building directory. Wells, it’s because my first name and last name are switched on the buzzer. I called UPS to let them know this AND to tell them to make note of the buzzer number they should press. AND I went downstairs and left a note by the buzzer. I was assured it’d be noted and they’ll re-deliver.

And then today, I get ANOTHER notification about a package I’m supposed to be getting delivered with the same thing. So I called UPS AGAIN and the lady says she understands my frustration and it should have definitely been fixed. She has a lady from the Chicago UPS call me and her name is Desiree. Desiree fixes her mouth to tell me the driver is 4 blocks away and I can go to him to get my package.

Ma’am WUT???

You want ME to go to the driver to get the package I PAID TO GET DELIVERED??? No MA’AM. I let her know that is NOT happening. She tells me that I can have it re-delivered for a charge (girl you don lost your mind) and I tell her that’s crap and I’m fully expecting it to be rectified. He needs to come to ME. What kinda foolishness are you spewing?

She calls me back to say the driver will be there in 5 minutes so I take my unhappy ass downstairs to wait. He pulls up and hops down with the world’s biggest attitude and I’m like “You ignored my note and all my instructions.” He’s huffing and puffing talmbout “SHOW ME YOUR NAME ON BUZZER!” while dragging on a cigarette and looking angry. I show him the note and he’s like “You just put that shit there. That wasn’t there this morning.”

This is when I went off and started cussing for real. HOW THE HELL YOU GOT THE NERVE TO TELL ME I JUST PUT THAT NOTE THERE??? And ALSO WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CUSSING AT? You aggravated son of a bitch! I don’t care that you hate your job and your poo-colored uniform. That’s a personal problem I ain’t got nothing to do with! Maybe I’ll be ornery too if I had to look like a walking turd. (-__-)

I snatched my package from him and show him the buzzer and the idiot snatches the package back to scan it. And then tosses it back at me. And we certainly exchanged a few more words and none of them were nice. I was FUMING.

hothead gif

And then Desiree calls me back to tell me next time, I need to make sure my name is on the buzzer correctly. NAWL, MA’AM! You need to make sure your rude driver isn’t cussing at customers. I’m PISSED.

UPS, IS THIS WHAT YOU ACCEPT FROM YOUR EMPLOYEES? Y’all lost my package first and then you’re doing everything in my power not to deliver my other packages THAT I PAID FOR.

I have NEVER experienced this and I’ve been here for over a year. I get hella packages delivered to me with no problem. 1. I’m a blogger and 2. I’m a shopaholic. HELLA packages! But all of a sudden my name ain’t on the buzzer?

I’m expecting four more packages and if I don’t get them or they’re damaged when I receive them, I might need to send some things UP. I EXPECT MY PACKAGES INTACT, UPS!

And I’m looking to file a formal complaint against whoever this driver is. These folks don ruined my day. Classless wonders and belligerent dummies. I’ve been cussing at random intervals for the past 3 hours. UGH.

All these caps in my post. You know I’m mad. I hate UPS with the intensity of 1,000 African suns at high noon in the desert. UPS is the Iota of delivery services. *kicks every trashcan in my house*

I’m totally gonna be asking stores I order with if they have options besides UPS henceforth. I need to avoid their service at all costs. Hey FedEx!

Have y’all had to deal with UPS’ incompetence?

Edit: They just sent me another notification for failed delivery. AND NOW I WANNA SEND SOME SHIT UP! THREE failed deliveries in 24 hours??? Ignore the hell outta the FIVE previous phonecalls I’ve made to you? Oh. NO. MA’AM.

UPS saw me going clean AWF on Twitter and their social media rep has called me and swore to fix this madness. If they don’t, I SWEATERGAWD I’ma show up at their office tomorrow in capri sweatpants, mismatched socks and a schmedium shirt WITH my night scarf to show color. UGH! *fights the air*

I feel your pain Luvvie…I have had one too many run-ins with UPS so much so that I don’t order from people who only use UPS and I tell them why. I just plain refuse. Their employees are self righteous and rude. They act that they are the only game in town.

    Hope everything works out…

Chile! I’m bout to be REAL particular abut ordering from places that only offer UPS cuz they are NOT about that life!

UPS has got to be the worst. I paid to have a package delivered, in two business days, and on the day of delivery, I waited all day for said delivery. By 8:00 pm, while on the phone with a UPS rep, I was informed that an attempt was maid to deliver the package and I, (customer) was not there to receive the package. The UPS driver is a lier, He never made an attempt to deliver package and he never left a notice of his attempt. I am now forced to pick up my package one full week from the time it was sent out and I paid to have it delivered in two days. I will never again use UPS and I recommend you do the same.

          Hi Anthony,

In my tracking online, it was stated that it was delivered but no customer was available.so they have it delivered to the UPS retail location for me to pick it up within a 5 days! My problem is I don’t have any notice. What do you need to present pick up your package?
anyone can answer. Please I’m getting a heart attack!

The difference is you guys have better CS reps. I paid a fair chunk of cash to get express delivery from UPS. Because of when I ordered it, this means it should have been her FRIDAY in the morning. But some dumbass didn’t take his job seriously, and showed up for work late. I called to complain about it. The customer service rep continued to explain that the guy had been drinking the night before and was feeling unwell, so they had to call someone else in to do his rounds. Whether this was true or not, I do not know. However, she informed me my package should still be there by Friday. It was not.

So, I called CS this morning, to see if I could pick up the package. They lady had the gall to tell me “The Tukwila location is closed on Saturdays.” SPECIFICALLY THAT ONE!? She informed me that some of them are open on Saturday, but not the one my package was delivered to. She also informed me that “Because it is closed, you will not be able to pick it up. However, you will be able to get it by Monday.” MONDAY!? OOOOHH HEEELLLLL NAAHHH! I paid to get it delivered FRIDAY. THIS IS BULL! I am beyond livid. I have NEVER had issues with USPS or FEDEX. You guys are alright. If you have good customer service, good policies, and people who enjoy their job despite people being rude to them, then you are running the business right.

You are CORRECK! UPS has gone downhill in just the last year. I have a package right now that sat in Memphis from 3/4 to 3/7 without even updating the website except to say “Delivery will be delayed due to inclement weather.” Only problem is, the weather was LAST WEEK, and my shid still sat four days THIS WEEK.

I think with the economy and fuel prices, UPS has had to lay off EVERY ONE of their drivers that gave a rat’s ass. NOW anyone left at UPS absolutely SUCKS. I mean SUCKS.

UPS blows so many goats they had to rent barn space from the Amish.

How bad-off do you have to be to suck harder than the U.S. Mail?

I just had an issue today that left me speechless. A return was to be picked up at my door, and instead of ringing the bell, I was left a note to LEAVE IT OUT. I called, and the woman sent a message to the facility where the packages were distributed. That person calls me within the hour, with the most hostile attitude, screaming and yelling at me. When I told her I was not about to listen to her rant at me for no reason, she used expletives and I ended the call. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH UPS AGAIN!!!!

Better Business Bureau this in addition to filing a complaint with UPS. The BBB acts quickly and you’re almost always guaranteed no future problems after they’ve contacted the company you are unsatisfied with. I can’t believe he snatched your package and then tossed it back to you. smh

    • October 24, 2012 at 7:14 pm

Yeah if any of my packages come up missing or damaged, I’ma show up at the doggone BBB talmbout “filing online wasn’t enough.”

      • TeeNikki
        October 25, 2012 at 6:01 am

          October 26, 2012 at 2:33 pm

SAY DAT! I had a dress company talmbout “they don’t do refunds” after their employee swiped my card twice in front my face!! She said it didn’t read but obviously it did ma’am b/c now I owe y’all $1000 instead of $500!! And then I got alla to the store manager who said she’d do it but w/ a 20% restocking fee!! HOE!! I don’t have a dress for you to restock!!! I called BBB and that sh@t was fixed asap w/ a credit to boot. That I rudely gave away in their store at the door b/c I refused to spend anymore of my hard earned Dereon dollas there.

… that was 2 years ago. and I’m still mad.

Nah see police would have been called because suddenly, I’m feeling physically threatened by a man who just took physical action against me. Put THAT in your crack pipe and smoke it UPS.

    1) Not the Iota of delivery services *dead*_______

    and

    2) So when did the recession end? Did Obama, Romney, and Oprah create thousands of new jobs overnight? Employment must suddenly be real damn plentiful for that driver to think that he could cuss out a CUSTOMER after HE half-ass HIS job. Let me fix my mouth to cuss out any-damn-body at my job and you might find MY ass delivering packages for UPS shortly after! He must have lost his mind. He messed with the wrong one today. Get him AND that smack mouthed Desiree from Customer Service, Luvvie!! Got me mad too!

    • October 24, 2012 at 7:16 pm

RIGHT! Folks acting like there’s hella jobs out here. UH UH, sir! Just cuz you got some clipboard does not make you special. NAWL.

  6. October 24, 2012 at 5:35 pm

The two UPS dudes that deliver to my small town are pretty dope. One of them, if he see me at out and about in his truck, this negro will stop and give me package… like in CVS. I know that’s against the damn rules. lol! But FedEx….babbbyyyy, me and FedEx is going to go at it one day!!! I’m a blogger, most companies send you stuff via FedEx, but the FedEx guys just don’t give a fuck. Packages at the wrong door, they don’t knock, one almost pulled the damn screen door off. I hope you get some justice in this situation. Everybody need to post this post on UPS’ Facebook and tweet it to UPS.

    • October 24, 2012 at 8:35 pm

So none of them are about shit. Duly noted. And YES! Please post this everywhere so UPS can know I ain’t playing.

      • October 24, 2012 at 9:50 pm

Dang — I can totally understand your frustration!! I wish you had the offending UPS dude’s email so we could all send him spam!

I’m with Jamie on this one though: you are one of the unfortunate few who have sucky UPS dudes who need to get fired. I too have a terrible relationship with Fedex, whereas UPS has been great 90% of the time. Fedex has thrown my packages (such as computer monitors and hard-drives) and left them on the side of my house — NEAR the sidewalk. (I live in a semi-hood where goons could’ve swiped it!!) And once they delivered my brand new iPhone in a smashed box with a smashed case — and I had to drag my behind to the post office to return it.

The UPS dudes on the other hand, are super friendly. And some have nice legs that we get to observe during warm seasons… But I digressed…

Unnecessarily long-story short: I hope you can get a NEW UPS person to deliver your packages. Then y’all can be BFFs again and look forward to feeding your shopping addiction in peace!

    • October 25, 2012 at 1:08 am

Now see that sounds like me and the Fedex people just straight not delivering my packages talking about they can’t find my house. But sir you were here yesterday and last week y u no can find my house today.

Now my UPS guy is decent not the best but not as bad as my FEDex guy

I go round with those sumbitches all the time. They flat won’t go to my house so I send things to my office. Even then, I get shit. Once they sat in my office parking lot…where they go everyday and entered a delivery exception saying my building didn’t exist

That just happened to me! My name and the address were there; THE BUILDING EXISTS, DAMMIT!!!! I am so pissed! It was a gift for my daughter. Of course, it was returned to the store. AAARGH! And it was on sale…so I will have to cough up an additional $50 to repurchase it! All because this person didn’t want to do his job.

    Girl. Lord. Just wow.

My bad UPS experience involved a replacement credit card. I waited at home all day with my blinds open so I could be there when they delivered it. My loft at the time had stairs from the street level parking to get to the doors. Tell me why I look out my window because I heard the truck. This man stands over the edge of the drop off and THROWS my envelope into my patio. Envelope just all exposed to whoever walks by. He didn’t even try to come down to my door to see if I was there. They are awful.

    • October 24, 2012 at 8:35 pm

Girl, I snorted so hard in outrage that a corn nut shot out of my nose.

I’m all tryna have a snack and UPS done nearly kilt me with their foolishness.

“I snatched my package from him and show him the buzzer and the idiot snatches the package back to scan it. And then tosses it back at me.”

The driver that snatches something outta my hands and throw it back at me is gonna have a *damaged package* when he leaves my stop. Jussayin.

Something like this happened to me a few years ago with my cable company. Dude was ghetto and unprofessional as all hell and got mad when i told him just that. He purposely disconnected my cable and when I called to complain they sent his raggelly azz back and he had the nerve to say he cut my cable off because I called him and idiot!! Ol’ mangy bastid! I reported his behind immediately!

I hope your UPS dude gets written up or something.

P.s. I read your blog everyday, you are my little sister in my head and keep me laughing. Keep up the good work!

Everyone should expect major problems with UPS this time of year. They hire a bunch of seasonal employees who dont give a damn about their jobs let alone our packages.

p.s. why do UPS and Iota have the same colors though? o_O

    • October 24, 2012 at 8:37 pm

Soooo their seasonal people started already? Lawd. And yes, they have the same colors. And no one knows why. They’re the worst colors to put together.

  11. October 24, 2012 at 5:51 pm

UPS is the devil! No lie. I didn’t start having problems with them until I moved to Georgia. I’ve had to go pick up packages that they claimed didn’t exist. They refused to leave packages without a signature even when I gave consent and the company that sent the package didn’t require one. There was a driver that would enter attempted delivery statuses for packages when he didn’t feel like finishing his route, and the he would deliver the package the next day. Their customer service is abysmal and their corporate office doesn’t care one bit.

    • October 24, 2012 at 8:37 pm

  12. Kell
    October 24, 2012 at 5:52 pm

GIRL!! These mofos ’round here don’t even KNOCK on the door. They literally THROW the box AT my door from the top of the hallway because my door is close to the elevator. Used to come home and wonder why the box is 4 good feet from the door, looking like an abandoned child. Then, one day I’m sitting in the house all by myself, all of a sudden a damn BOOM from the hallway scared the shyt out of me. Go to the door, there’s my package. I called customer service with a QUICKNESS and was like “I know the drivers are busy and all, but throwing boxes at my door just some bullshyt.” Now, they SLIDE the shyt–promise you I’m not lying. I can HEAR when it slides. I LIVE ON THE SECOND FUKING FLOOR. If you miss the elevator, CARRY YOUR AZZ DOWN THE STAIRS.

Don’t get me started on FedEx. They are worse. Our doors are crazy, so unless you knock like a man, you won’t be heard. Last time I was expecting a delivery, I left notes EVERYWHERE telling them “I AM HOME. PLEASE KNOCK HARD” and STILL ended up on the phone fighting with someone to tell the delivery driver to bring me my package!! She must have knocked on my door with her fingernail, ol’ trifling behind. Finally, she comes back and the heffa had the NERVE to say “I started not to turn around.” I just looked at her like O__o. They have box cutters on their person, I wasn’t ’bout to fight, but I wanted to bat her azz upside the head with the box.

You don’t need to have a job if you’re gonna act like that.

    October 24, 2012 at 6:44 pm

Ugh, I quit UPS a long time ago. The WORST delivery company out there. And I actually work in corporate retail and used to handle a lot of claims regarding shipping in my last role. We actually switched from UPS because they were so awful. I won’t even order from companies that ship UPS as their only option. I’ve had packages left on the corner of my block (meaning literally the corner, just happen to see it coming back from the store), left outside near a curb (mind you I was home and my doorbell works, needless to say never got it), thrown into bushes, placed behind trash cans, and my favorite, HANDED TO SOMEONE WHO WAS OUTSIDE THE BUILDING BECAUSE THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY LIVED THERE. Seriously. Donkey from those damn Disney movies could do a better job.

  15. October 24, 2012 at 6:47 pm

I’ve dealt with this very issue. The driver that frequently comes to my community is, IMO, either racist OR he REALLY hates his job.

I ordered something from Amazon and there were two things in the box that I needed before I could leave the house and run errands. Sat around ALL day waiting for the package. When it didn’t come by 7pm, I refreshed the screen and said they attempted delivery but no one was home.

    Okay.

So I call them and let them know that I live in a spot where I would hear that knock even if I was in my bedroom OR bathroom b/c everything is on ONE level. They said they’d deliver the next day. No problem.

Next day comes, same thing…waited all day, only to find that it was dropped off at my community lobby and signed for by the community manager. By the time I saw this on the UPS website, the office had closed for the day. so this is day two that I couldn’t get my errands done b/c now, I have to wait for the office to open. I call UPS and complain again. They apologize and said that he should’ve come to the door. Then she asks me “Do you want me to have him pick the package up from the office and deliver it to your door?” Initially I said No, I’d just go get it but she said “No, I’m going to make sure that you don’t have to leave your door b/c you paid for delivery. And it actually makes ME mad when this happened, so I’ll have him pick it up from the office and come by your door.”

    I said, Okay girl! Thanks.

Well the next day comes. I hear a LOUD bang on my door. Go to open it and guess what? This fuck ass UPS man THREW my package at the door and walked off. How do I know it was him? I saw his back as he was hitting the stairs by the gate. How did I know he THREW it and didn’t just knock hard? Well b/c one of the items in my package was broken AND my box was bent up on the side where he threw it.

Needless to say, I don’t care much for UPS. I agree that if you pay for DOOR delivery, that’s where it should be delivered to, no questions asked. Don’t be mad at me b/c this is your job. You CHOOSE to be there. Just do the best you can, run me my stuff, and leave the attitude in your van.

    • October 24, 2012 at 10:18 pm

That is what I like to refer to as “bald-headed ass games”, Jia. UGH! I hate when folks are mad at their jobs and wanna take it out on customers. They better get a job where they don’t have to deal with people face-to-face regularly. shit.

*deep sigh* OK Imma breathe now *deep sigh*

Its ALWAYS something with them. I have been on the couch with my front door wide open (I have a gate thats locked) and I can see anyone that will come my way. After waiting damn near all day for my package, I go to my mailbox which is like 10 steps from my door and see the note.

    Im livid!

I call and they tell me it can be redelivered or I can go pick it up.

    What da what?!?!?!

Yall office is wayyyyyyyyy on the other side of the world and I paid to have it come to my house. Do ya damn job!

I like you will pay someone else to bring my stuff. UPS sucks!

  17. October 24, 2012 at 7:17 pm

I feel your pain Girl. UPS and FedEx are a hot steaming mess here too. I had some chairs delivered to me via UPS from Overstock.com and not one but two nigglets refused to bring the box up the stairs. Them ninjas straight left this giant ass box at the foot of the stairs to my brownstone and walked the fuck off. I wanted to dropkick the universe.

they be chilling in the barber shops getting hair cuts, eating, you name it!

my issue involves my wedding favors!
yes my wedding favors that were ordered in June and I didn’t get until September after fighting with them for 3 months that they were NOT delivered! to not narrra of my three doors at my house! THREE

    just straight up lying!

    guuuurl.

my fiance sent me a statue for my birthday. it was wrapped in bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and towels and had a big-ass “FRAGILE” written on the side and it still arrived broken. (with a hole under the giant “FRAGILE”.)

i called their number because my fiance had insured the package. called about three times and each person told me a different thing. they finally told me i had to take it up with the store it was mailed from. i called them about three times and they were always too busy and i was so frustrated at constantly calling them to try to get reimbursed for this broken statue that i just stopped calling them. but yeah. never again.

I knew someone who worked for Canada Post and he said when they used to see they word “fragile” they would purposely play floor hockey with the package.

I will say my UPS guy now is so nice. Anyways…

    Luvvie,

I know exactly how you feel…Im at a point Im scared to get items delivered to my house I have everything sent to my job ( because I have more control over getting my items nut UPS acts up here as well) if I can because UPS aint about that life! I ordered a blu-ray player from amazon and the ups driver had the nerve to leave my package with a neighbor upstairs in my building that I didnt know ….here’s my issue it required a signature and also we have a leasing office he could have left it at like they have done every other package. I had to go to my neighbor demand my package which she denied she received so i had to go my leasing office manger with the proof and he had to go knock on her door and demand the package because I told him either she gives me the package or Im calling the police… (triffling heffa) so once i got my package it was all bent up and tampered with! I called UPS and went off about that. Some lady name Brandi claimed they would note my address to never leave a package elsewhere which is a lie since they have left items in the leasing office since then. So a few weeks later I received another package from amazon that required a signature and this fool threw my package at the door and tried to leave but ironically i got off work early that day and caught him in the act and confronted him. He had the nerve to tell me that its the driver’s judgement call on how to handle the delivery of my packages and if he wants to leave it in a “safe” place he may do so I was like wtf….ummm no sir you are suppose to follow the directions established by the vendor who paid you for a service or the customer being me who paid for the shipping and handling of the item. I told him he needs to work on his customer service and he told me to file a complaint and left! I did call the local branch and reported him and some man claiming to be the supervisor gave me some speech about speaking to the driver and that “brown cares” and that UPS is on a tight schedule etc etc and the driver just wanted me to get my package that day with out having to redeliver and to satisfy me as a customer… Like I said before UPS on my job isnt perfect…I work on a city lot with alot of city bldgs and the driver will deliver every bldgs packages in whatever bldg he gets to first totally ignoring the numbers because he is just plain out lazy to deliver to each bldg. The only good thing is everyone on the lot looks out for each other and will call you if your package is delivered to their bldg and he comes around the same time each day so you know when to start looking for your packages…. Now the DHL AND FEDEX people will stop in each bldg and are so nice…my Fedex guy knows me by name and flirts with me and always smell good……but that besides the point UPS sucks and if you have a good UPS guy I your blessed and pray he doesnt leave or get reassigned!

I worked for UPS customer service for about 8 yrs and truly, we pretty much got paid to tell everyone it was the customers fault. Don’t matter if you leave notes, talk to the driver, etc. nothing is ever and will never be UPS fault as far as they’re concerned. The best thing to do is to make sure your shipper sends it fed ex or dhl and hope for the best!

UPS is a mess. I usually get packages delivered at a friends house because he and his UPS man are friends, but recently I must have stepped outside of my brain and ordered something to my house….stupid me. They tried to deliver the first day and no one was home because it was shipped a day earlier than anticipated. So I called and was offered the option to have the package delivered to a different address….I chose that option. When I went online to check the next day it said delivery exception (not sure what that even meant), I called and the automated system said they would deliver to my house. I spoke to someone who assured me that the package was going to the alternate place. I had to leave my house for 1 hour. I got back 5 minutes after the UPS idiot tried to deliver my package to my house. O__o really sir! So I call and the representative said oops (seriously) and proceeded to try to tell me that he would deliver the next day (I was going out of town the next day). I reminded them that they screwed up and the driver had to be nearby (it had been no more than 15 minutes)….FIND HIM! I had to get a supervisor but and hour later an angry UPS driver came to the door. He couldn’t throw the package because I had to sign for it (thank God because it was breakable). UPS is raggedy.

Oh and I don’t know how many times I have had a delivery exception because there is no apartment number (I live in a house) or I get a second notice when it is their first delivery attempt.

  26. October 25, 2012 at 11:53 am

Luvie, why do I get your awesome post A DAY LATE?!?! I’m like oh, I’m goign to post first and UH HUH *eyes bulge* I’m the 100th person lol.

    NT WAYZ

This line right here “I SWEATERGAWD I’ma show up at their office tomorrow in capri sweatpants, mismatched socks and a schmedium shirt WITH my night scarf to show color. UGH! *fights the air*” killed me ten fold.

I cannot stand UPS myself. My bell doesnt work. Hasnt worked for umpteen years (mgmt sucks balls) and I always leave a note. They either come twice (which means the first time they dont feel like doing what the note says and come back later) or come ridiculously late (past 8pm wtf). Last time one of them tore the note down, crumbled it up and launched it. I called UPS they said no one was home, he couldnt get in. BULL SHITE! I rather USPS or FEDEX (especially FEDEX ’cause they can call a sista up when they arrived at the building so I can get my package).

I’m convinced UPS gives less than a shit about actually delivering a package. The last straw for me was when my neighborhood driver left a package on the outside of my apartment building. The problem is, my building faces a busy street. Yes, that asshole left a box with $150 worth of merchandise ON THE STREET and claimed delivery.

I called customer service and I could hear the representative shrugging her shoulders over the phone. She was fresh out of damns to give. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she hung up on me. Finally, I was able to get someone to “open an investigation” but they effectively blamed me for not giving them proper delivery instructions. I was livid. Especially, since I’ve NEVER had a problem with a delivery. Ever.

Now I just hold the package for pick up or use FedEx or USPS when it’s available.

UPS delivered my repaired cell phone to god knows where…and then asked me for a phone number to call me at when they found it. I very sweetly replied, “I would love to, but my number is the one sitting on someone else’s doorstep”. I bet you they got that dude back out that same night and found it. He was a different one, too. Our normal UPS man is my friends fiancee, so he’s fantastic and never throws my stuff, and always rings my bell AND honks the horn as he’s pulling up. Our Fedex dude has a crush on me, im sure, so I dont have trouble out of him either…but as a former UPS employee, yep, underpaid meets overworked and nary a f*ck is given about y’alls stuff.

Well, acomputer I ordered wasn’t delivered to my home because my name isn’t on the buzzer (the wife owns our condo, hence her name is on the buzzer). They decided without calling me that I lived at a 4 yo address in Florida and sent it there. 3 days of calling and cursing. Then all of our baby shower gifts that weren’t delivered or left a door tag, I can’t even do them. Thought I was the only one that literally asked companies who they ship with. I will not willingly give them anymore of my money. At least FedEx will call you!

I got an email at 7:30 tonight telling me that they MAY NOT be able to deliver today after all; delivery was scheduled no later than 3:15. They rarely arrive when scheduled, or they will show up when I have had no notification.
I have found notes on my door that they tried to deliver…and I was home. Apparently I should have “sensed” there was someone outside because there certainly was no knock on the door.
I started getting the emails sent so I could try to be home, but all I wanted was the pkg. left on porch(my neighbors have no interest in my stuff). Apparently, for a fee of FORTY DOLLARS, I could give that order. I don’t think so! They have lost their minds!!

Saddly I worked at UPS for 7 years, out of the 7 years there, I was on the management team for 5 of those years, I did leave the company mostly because of the need of being with my family but the way the company is ran made it easier to say goodbye to a job that paid well & I was comfortable with knowing I could enjoy what I do as a career. It is a never ending battle that is fought between the union employees & the management team …there are a few honest & reliable employees there but to say the least there are more employees whom only care about themselves in making their reports look good … No matter what it took to get that raise the results were more based on lies & cover ups not on the customers which I did get lectured a few times for just being honest, but it didn’t change my customer service because I always put myself in the customers shoes! As I worked different positions for UPS I did see the good but mostly poor customer service…I guess what I am trying to say is that I do apoligize for the entire UPS team for any misbehavior or unsatisfactory & plz know that not every employee is a liar nor self centered , I have been stress free from the company for 6 months now & couldn’t be more happy with the career choice of leaving knowing I am not one of them! 🙂 I don’t bleed nor agree Brown!

I HATE UPS TOO. they mishandled my last delivery that happened in Oct 2012. Expecting their delivery, i left the front door OPEN. The negligent delivery guy doesn’t even both knock or ring the bell. Instead, he just sticks a a notice stating he was unable to deliver. BUT THE FRONT DOOR WAS WIDE OPEN!!!
My current delivery, which is still “in transit” is now LOST. They don’t even know what happened to the package.
    UPS IS A FAILURE.

If it’s any consolation to you, you’re not alone. My experience yesterday and today with UPS can’t touch yours for a UPS nightmare but, believe me, they think we work for them. What crap.

Yesterday UPS left a package at my back door from Verizon. It had my address on it but the name on it sure wasn’t mine. I spent the next six hours trying to get through to UPS and Verizon and the guy who was supposed to get this package. Couldn’t find him. But why at my address??? What’s this little shit up to?, I thought.

It’s been two days now and Verizon still hasn’t gotten back to me. UPS lied and they picked it up today instead or tomorrow for re-delivery. Then the SOB pig UPS driver tore the box out of the clear plastic bag UPS put the thing in and threw the bag on my back stairs. Like I’m supposed to clean it up. I never saw him come or go and it’s a good thing because that UPS prick would have had that plastic bag for lunch.

I hope he does that to somebody who will shove it up his ass instead. UPS and Verizon both suck and so does the little prick using my address for his deliveries. Thanks for listening and you have every right to be pissed. Their problem is that they don’t get smacked enough. The next time I see that UPS has left a package at my door that’s not for me, the bears that roam around here are going to get a new toy because I’ll never try to do the right thing again where UPS is concerned. They don’t deserve it.

My UPS driver is great, but their way of doing business is mind boggling. I used to ship with them until I had my packages:

    1. Left in snow drifts
    2. Boxes ALWAYS arrived banged up

Dealing with claims is a new level of Dante’s hell. Someone took them a hat box to ship. What did they do? They slapped a label on a cardboard hat box and shipped it back!

I hope Phillip has Jesus on speed dial cuz he’s going to need him in a minute. Dumbass identifies himself as a current driver and threatens somebody over a situation he would have been deadazz wrong in.

He’s probably the driver that lied about delivering my package in January. I have subscriptions to stuff that gets delivered by UPS every month to my house. That month I checked on my package tracking and it said that a delivery attempt was made. I told her that the driver lied because I am home damn near everyday during the winter. I never saw one shit colored truck driving through my neighborhood that week and there was no knock on my door for a delivery attempt. The driver even lied and said that he had left a note and she said it may have blown away in the wind. If you are dumb enough to employ drivers who will LIE about sticking a note on a door on a windy day instead of dropping the note in the mail slot on the same damn door then you are doomed to fail eventually.

She gave me the option of picking the package up from the warehouse. I told her I would but called the warehouse the next day and informed the wrker that I wanted the package delivered instead.

3 days go by and I still don’t have my package. I was transferred from the main customer service center to the warehouse and was told that my request was entered into the system but the driver loaded it to be sent back to the company. WHAT IN THE BLUE HELL????? I called the company and as soon as they got it they sent it back. I checked my tracking every day and out of nowhere I go another failed delivery attempt notice on the website. I was livid. I cussed them out all over twitter. They contacted me and had my package delivered the next day I flied a formal complaint, blasted them on twitter again, and cursed the name of every lazy, lying UPS employee like that driver and Phillip.

I have never gotten another missed package notice since them but I am waiting cuz I’m going off with all the powah and flair of 10 Olivia Pope’s.

    April 4, 2013 at 4:30 am

I FEEL YOUR PAIN! On TWO levels. One, cause I’m from Chicago too. And, TWO, cause UPS is forever effing up when it comes to my stuff. First of all, I’m an Amazon junkie so most deliverymen know me or at least should know my little brown house. However, their is ALWAYS this one fool who delivers NEXT DOOR instead of my house. Here is the problem–their house has NO NUMBERS. OUR house has the numbers on it plain as day. You can’t miss it. And this is the same bald delivery guy who’s just too lazy to LOOK UP.

I know this for a fact, because there is another delivery guy who gets it right. Delivers my stuff, rings the bell, keeps it moving. So this other guy is like, WELL KNOWN FOR EFFIN UP. And I mean, the neighbor in question is always telling me she’s getting other people’s stuff. And she does. Anytime I come over to visit, she’s got packages from my other neighbors that she’s waiting to send off to them.

This delivery man is a chronic moron and I can’t even GET to UPS Customer Service with their whack red tape online and on the phone. And I’d rather not, but, I get pressed when I see “delivered” and my ish ain’t in my hand. That’s how I lost my X-Men DVD, that’s how my jacket from Avenue went missing for three days. I’m like, whoa….y’all need to get it together.

But to hear YOUR story is messed up. Bad CS, a funky attitude havin’ driver….man, you had every right to be pissed off ’cause that was a foul set up from the get go. UPS is dead slippin and USPS does a MUCH better job than they do. The error rate for them with my deliveries is like maybe….2%. UPS is way up there with a 90% chance my package will be “delivered” but to the wrong damn house.

And yet, drivers want to “bitch slap” people for the fack ups of their fellow employees. Man….SLAP YOURSELF. Lose the attitude!

Every now and then I have a problem with UPS. First it was customer was unavailable (a lie) when I was sitting right in the damn living room waiting on him and he never showed up. Once I heard the UPS truck coming down our street, I sent my son outside to meet him and get my package hmph he drove past my house and I was thinking maybe he’ll come back…30 minutes later I track my package, it’s marked customer was unavailable. I wrote to UPS on their Facebook page telling them what happened and they responded and told me to email their customer service which I did -__- I don’t know what their problem is but I hate them!

  50. April 4, 2013 at 7:46 am

UPS DOES IN FACT SUCK!!! My packages are often taken to my neighbors houses, not on my block, but just random houses in my development!! Then these belligerent twatwaffles argue with me about the status of my packages, then I drive around the neighborhood looking at people’s door steps stopping to see which house has a package on it’s doorstep. I then take a picture of the house number and the picture of the label and send it to those fools to show, again you illiterate douche nozzles have failed to get my package to my house, and I look like a thief peeking on my neighbors doorstops. Thank God they love me.

So now I’m taking it back to this, basic mofo thinking he’s just gon threaten ST. Luvvie, honorary Gladiator, and Kerry Washington’s BFF and thought no body gonna call his ass out!!!! UPS drivers treat people like that because they are union workers and are used to getting what they want for minimal effort. I used to work in customer service and constantly heard of horror stories like this one. But in customer service our hands are so tied because the local brand acts the same way. Like someone owes THEM something. I had to escalate so many calls to my supervisor who still couldn’t do anything to resolve the issue without calling local. The problem always starts there I’ve found. Sorry this happened to you love.

    • Aquaria
      January 18, 2016 at 2:58 pm

It’s not because they’re union workers, stupid. It’s because their management is crap.

With any union shop, there is a way to fire people, but the management is so busy sucking on the wang of someone higher to get in good with them that they can’t be arsed to document things the way they should.

The management only cares about their quotas, the number of items delivered in X amount of time X window, not about you. Did I mention that it’s impossible to deliver quota in X amount in time with the number of drivers/employees that they have? So they ride the arses of the drivers to do the impossible, rather than spending time making sure things are delivered when they should.

That’s how it works, you stupid cow.

UPS is the the worst service and most importantly DRIVERS!!
Drivers constantly leave items on drive way when they are supposed to be delivered at the door.Anybody walking on the street can see the package and steal it!Several times I have seen them where they make an attempt to deliver to the door but all they do is toss the package on the concrete landing pad in front of the door in which several times the box/package brakes open!
Have contacted Investigation department to no avail!! WTF!!

UPS is by far the worst company you can work for they treat all employees like shit they pay us shit and they dont have enough guys for the work and one person can load up too 4-5 trucks themselves. packages themselves are treated like shit and kicked stepped on thrown squished and what ever else it may be. im sick of putting broken shit in damaged boxes made up of tape and another box true story. i have seen important medications that are suppose to be sent out asap get sent out late. Ups only cares about $ they dont give a shit bout customers the packages or there emplyees. gt a job there if you dont believe me you will see all of this your first week guarantee. we need to do something about them.

UPS stole my wedding dress. I kid you not. Neimann Marcus now has a flag on my account to ship by FedEx only because of the ish I had to put up with six weeks before my wedding. Dress was shipped from Dallas to NYC. According to UPS it was delivered. Um, no dress, and I was home the day of delivery. UPS claimed it had my signature. So I asked NM to get a copy of that signature. Gee golly, they couldn’t locate it anywhere! Then the driver claimed it must have been my upstairs neighbor who signed for it. Really, the upstairs neighbor whose packages I signed for that day because she was at work and I was at home??? Dress turned up as a “return” at the Short Hills mall in NJ three weeks later. So in the meantime, I have to get a new wedding dress pretty much asap AND altered. NM refunded my money, but the replacement dress and alterations ended up costing me nearly $1000 more than the first dress (which had been on sale). Grrrr. And I won’t even go into detail about the jerk driver who THREW my lamp boxes over the fence instead of ringing the bell… I’m in the middle of another non-delivery hell right now b/c the store didn’t have an option other than UPS. Ugh.

They stole $10,000 of my clothing samples for a trade show. Did you know that UPS secretly auctions off your unclaimed packages to a company who then sells it on eBay? Did you know UPS has made it virtually impossible for you to find your package once it gets, “lost”. It’s part of a plan to make money off of you 2X. I used to work for UPS (part time). I can tell you that the employees are WAY overworked for what they can handle, and packages are sometimes lost or mishandled. After working for them, I’d never send a package that HAD to be there via UPS. In fact, years ago before I worked for them, I sent an urgent Overnight via UPS. It took 5 days. They said to me “Well, our belts are designed for packages, and sometimes overnight letters get lost”
REALLY? Well from now on, I’m sending overnights via FedEx.

If you saw what I saw in the UPS Hubs and how your packages are handled and thrown around and shoved into tractor trailers and piled high with heavy boxes on top of them, you’d wonder how things ever got to destinations without being totally destroyed.

The delivery drivers work hard. Very hard. Some work for 12 hours a day dealing with traffic, hundreds and hundreds of package delivery stops, dogs, hidden address, etc. Sometimes they make mistakes and deliver packages to the wrong addresses. It happens when you handle 500 packages a day for 350 days a year for 10 to 12 hours a day. But they are paid VERY well for this. VERY well. But they are human, and get tired from the overwork. It’s a tough job. And it’s getting tougher every day because less people are going to stores and more are buying stuff online. You should see the Hubs where the packages are sorted from tractor trailer to tractor trailer and from tractor trailer to delivery vans. It’s a madhouse.

When you see that, you wonder how ANY packages get to where they are going safely. And they pay the Hub people horribly. And it’s Teamster Union. So those people could give a flip about your packages. They treat them like garbage much of the time.

Today I watched on my video monitor as the UPS truck pulled up. I went to meet at delivery door and truck door never opened and then pulled away. I went to UPS website and it showed that 2 packages were attempted delivery. There is snow on the ground so I double checked for tracks and there were none. I am a small business that depends on timely delivery. This really pissed me off.

I work for the UPS call center in Tampa, and i must say I REALLY DO UNDERSTAND what you’re going through. Although I have never had a problem with UPS personally, their policies are kind of outrageous, but I will say whenever I get a phone call, I make sure the problem gets taken care of and I rant to the facilities and recite word for word what customers say and sure enough no more problems. I will say this, QVC AMAZON MICROSOFT WALMART HSN BEST BUY AND TARGET ALL SHIP WITH UPS. ESPECIALLY AMAZON they have a binding contract with UPS. Oh and Don’t ever order anything offline between November 29th – December 31st, it wont arrive on time. Also, when FedEx or UPS transfers things to the post office because the shipper asks us to, almost half of the stuff doesn’t get delivered. Oh and please don’t take out your frustrations with the Customer Service Representatives because we can’t control the drivers or the facilities and what they do. Trust me, we care about your problems more than the drivers or the stupidvisors at the facilities. At least I do anyways.

he UPS customer non-service story of the day. The package I sent on 12/23 to Leyden, MA (1Z8W1F370308415867) was delivered today. TO ME. All UPS can say is that due to emergency conditions, they were unable to deliver it. And that they can’t pick it up from me and retry. They had it in S. Deerfield, MA from DECEMBER 28 until JANUARY 13 — and they couldn’t deliver it because of “emergency conditions” although they don’t know what those conditions consisted of. They did send a postcard to the recipient requesting that he pick it up — assuming that he could drive through the emergency conditions that prevented their trucks from delivering it and assuming that he. a touring musician, was home — and then they sent it back to me rather than to wait until the emergency was over and retry the delivery. I’ve been on the phone for 45 minutes, and am now waiting for a supervisor. Although UPS claims to be in the pickup and delivery business, they can’t figure out how to pick up the package. The best they can do is send a message to South Deerfied and ask them to call me. And – the “Escalation Manager” at UPS cannot escalate this to corporate. She said that she did not have the phone number for anyone at corporate. When I offered to look it up and tell her what it was, she told me she wasn’t allowed to call it. Every company has problems, especially when at the mercy of the weather. The measure of the company is the response, and the UPS response was lacking, to say the least.

    Hello,

I have a slightly different situation that I am currently in. First off, I live in a small city that only has UPS here in Canada. And one of the problems is that they can only deliver when I am at work. They are not at night or on the weekends.

My situation has to do with a computer than needs to be repaired and Staples. I took my laptop to be fixed at the local Staples, but they could not fix it. So they asked me to get a case number from Acer and address to where to send it (Which is in another Canadian city). I also got the tracking number from Staples. Well, I did track the package and did go to Burnaby. However, it did not go to Acer, it went to another Staples store there. I’ve tried to complained to UPS, but they are not taking it seriously. So the only thing that I have done is complain to the BBB.

And now I have to deal with Staples and Acer and getting my computer fixed. All because of a driver who can’t read.

I myself waited in all day for these people to deliver ..nothing new.. no delivery.. this has happened to me on many occasions when waiting for a delivery from ups for next day delivery. I called customer services and they are just as useless. I will be avoiding them like the plague next time. Whilst waiting I took the opportunity to look at their delivery service on you tube. Given the way they treat the parcels they have to deliver, its a wonder how these peopleare still in business. They are a displayed

This happened to me today! The tracking said that it was delivered at 5:03PM to ‘customer woman’. STFU customer is me and I was still at work at that time so don’t bullshit me. Plus worst part is that package has important and confidential information in it. FML it’s something that can’t be replaced. I’m going to cuss at their ass tomorrow morning as soon as it opens.

UPS service does suck. Their drivers are given too much work and not enough time to do a good job. Management – all they care about are performance numbers. Until these two issues are resolved, UPS will continue to loose business.

I worked for “What Can Brown Do To You” for just short of 23 years and the stories that I could tell would make your head spin. UPS has it down to an art when it comes to putting the screws to YOU, the customer. I know, since I was just short of retirement and with a clean record, I made a mistake and was given the door. Can’t prove this enough to retain my job but someone else was brought in that makes half of my wage to replace me.

UPS is a joke and should close the doors and send the employees home! Last week, I ordered a package from a place in Illinois and paid for two day shipping to the west coast. UPS picked it up 6 days ago and put on their tracking website that it would be delivered today, 6 days later. So I check their website today to find out when it will be delivered, And Guess What? The package is still in Illinois!! UPS hasn’t been able to move the package more than 100 miles in 6 days and they call themselves a shipping company???
So far I have just sent them email because I am afraid of what I might say on the telephone.

I wish I would have read this site before I started my account with UPS. They have lost packages and mis-delivered. Accidents happen of course. The real problem is they challenge every claim and deny problems. I sent a package to Hawaii from Arizona. The package never left the main land and ultimately was just returned to me. So I called to get my money back on the shipping and was told I can’t because 15 days went by since I sent the package. They shipped the package around the country for 30 days. Then returned it to me. They said the package had made it to the ‘commitment stage’ so sorry pal.

The billing department ultimately did give me my money back on the shipment but I lost the order and the customer to my business.

Today I had another package delivered from outside of Canada for a product I could not buy in Canada. I was given a price for the item and delivery and my UPS online confirmation showed that no brokerage fees would be applied on the ‘UPS Saver Express’ shipment.
When a demand for additional funds was made for ‘brokerage fees’ and I asked for an explanation of brokerage fees which are included in the UPS Saver Express price the quite rude driver cut me short and asked if I was refusing the package as he did not have time.
I did refuse the package as he could not explain the brokerage fee so I called UPS and a second rude employee said it was because they paid tax on my behalf and for that service they charge a ‘bonding fee’. When I googled that they claim on their site that it is a fee of a fee of 2.7 percent (minimum $10 on UPS Worldwide Express Saver® and UPS Worldwide Expedited®) of the amount advanced by UPS.
So in what world does 2.7 % of $29.49 with a minimum of $10 come out at over $11:00. Do they mean a minimum of $10 plus the 2.7% which still wouldn’t reach $11 let alone over and most importantly why could the driver not explain what he called the brokerage fee? So I called back and a not rude this time employee said she would waive the bond fee.
Then the depot called and I was told that it turns out that the driver can’t explain it as drivers aren’t trained to know the difference between bonding fee and brokerage fee. The caller was quite proud that she could. Their business is delivery and they should know the fees they are charged with collecting.
Here’s a recommendation for businesses using UPS when giving a quote for shipping ask if tax has been included and if it hasn’t mention the brokerage fee. When that package shows up with fees and hidden charges and bad multiplication the customer is left with a bad taste and they are not UPS customers they are your customers.

UPS SUCKS. I feel your pain. The ONLY time they ever get it right by me is when I order from Amazon Prime, they are usually on time. Otherwise, they are ALMOST ALWAYS late. I am in the Chicago area too. It must be something about the UPS people here, they are extra lazy and inept.

So I let a man in Florida convince me Monday that my all-so-important package I really needed TODAY would be here on time. He lauded UPS, how they are always on time. STUPID ME, I fell for it again. I urged him to use USPS Priority Mail, at $30 instead of $16 I was fine with it as I knew I would get it yesterday. But, he convinced me there’d be no issue.

God How could I not have known!!?!?!?!?

Today came, and went, no package. Tomorrow he sends me the tracking # but it’s too late to matter, I was set to leave in the morning with my item. Now, I have to either go without it or delay my project/travel by a day.

GOOD LORD I FRIGGIN HATE UPS! Never again! I will ALWAYS INSIST on a reliable service like Priority Mail! Bring my package, UPS, and GET OUT of my life!

UPS Social Media people are you listening? I’m tired of your incompetent drivers and inept system. You always disappoint. And, don’t try to convince me that UPS cares, because they absolutely do not.

I have had a similar issue the driver never knocks or rings the door bell.
I had a notice on Friday they needed a signed signature for delivery so I took Monday off to wait for the driver. I was sitting by the front door heard a truck come up the street no knock or ring the door so I opened the door and they ran up left the tag no knock or ring the door bell and vanished.
I had to then call an bitch an the best they could do was we will hold it. So I had to drive 15 miles downtown and get it myself.

When my ups driver lost one of my packages during the Christmas rush the seller filed a claim so they could replace the item. The driver then came to my home at 10:30 at night and shouted at my daughter then me upon which time I ordered him to leave and NOT RETURN!!! In retaliation ups will not any longer deliver to my home. I keep ordering so that the stuff goes back to the sellers who will eventually figure out that ups is not the way to go. You are right! UPS is complete shit. I used to live in Canada and did not have to put up with such garbage. I moved to New York two years ago and look what I am stuck with UPS! I ordered an apple product that was supposed to come today. In Shanghai, there was a mechanical failure, I called cs and they said the machine that scans products wasn’t working WTF. Then, the product was shipped to South Korea. Where the flight to New York was supposed to begin. But no, the flight has been delayed for 12 HOURS. HOW HARD IS IT TO GET A FLIGHT TO NEW YORK. THERE ARE THREE AIRPORTS NEARBY, NEWARK, JFK, AND LAGUARDIA. HOW CAN YOU NOT GET ONE FLIGHT. I hope ups dies in a hole of fire.

Complete shit service. Failed attempted, and ask me to sign authorization to leave package, and I did. However, they claim that certain dangerous item or whatever cannot be left behind even when authorized. (A box of organic cereal + used book, so fucking dangerous)

Worst customer service of all time, tell me I can either go get the package 15 miles away on my own, or pay a fee to relocate to closer office. Pretty much ask me to go fuck myself in the butt.

I’m never ordering anything that uses UPS. I hope they go bankrupt and the guy I was just speaking to loses his job and go homeless. Fuck his attitude on the phone. He literally gives absolutely 0 shit about me, who by using UPS service help pay for his fucking salary.

    Where do I begin…………..
I ordered a $700.00 table from a company in Canada which was supposed to be delivered to me from Canada.

I received two notices that noone was home and a third attempt at delivery would be made.

I called UPS and told them to deliver the table to my neighbor. I even left a note by my doorbell.

The next day I went to my neighbor but she hadn’t received the table.

I checked the UPS website to fin that my table has been delivered and left on my stoop!!!

Well of course there was no table to be found anywhere, front stoop,
next door neighbors…..down the block around the corner …….
    No-where!!!

I contacted UPS and I was told that the vendor had to file a claim.

I contacted the vendor and he was out of business.

I filed a claim in Small Claims Court.

Noone showed up as a representative from UPS.

I won a judgement for the full monetary worth of the table plus interest.

Of course UPS completely ignored the judgement.

I filed information supenas against various banks in order to find out if any of the banks held funds that I could go against.

    One bank…Barclays….ignored the information supena.

I tried contacting my Senator….and wa told that he only had jurisdiction over Federal agencies.

I contacted the the New York Times consumer advocate….and was ignored.
    I HATE UPS!!!!

My sister was attempting to receive a very important package from UPS for at least 2 weeks. Throughout that time, she would call them frequently to ask what the status of her package was. Of course, they would answer with, “the driver is on his way with your package.” She would wait and wait and he would never arrive. She calls again to wonder what occurred, and the person on the phone has the audacity to say that the door was not answered so the driver had to leave. Bitch, my sister was waiting in a nearby room and heard no doorbell. They think we are fools. She is avoiding UPS at all costs as well as I. Whatever you do, do not utilize this trash company.

If you are Amazon Prime member and expect a package Friday, good luck to you. UPS makes delivery attempts at odd hours on Friday. Very hard to tell from their sticker what to expect. Amazon’s cheap delivery means they won’t try again on Saturday, you’ll have to wait 3 days until Monday, sometime between 11am and 3pm if that’s convenient for you to take the day off and wait at home all day. So the UPS guy may actually make deliveries to my building on Saturday – just not mine. Do you think he has my package in the truck too ;[

Love this! I’m facing a very similar situation with my UPS Delivery Person. She’s incredibly rude, and just seems to generally have a bad attitude towards everyone. Yesterday, she threatened to “stop delivering my packages” because my dog walked out with me to meet her at the front door. This was the first time that’s ever happened; he didn’t even make any attempt to approach her.

I’ve been searching for a way to file a formal complaint against her, but there doesn’t seem to be any “official” method of doing that.

I have never received a product on time/undamaged that someone has tried to send through UPS, and every time it’s exactly this trying to get what I paid for.

UPS should go out of business, Period. At least DHL did try.
I made the mistake of ordering from a company that only does business from UPS.

I blame the company, that I made the purchase for 50% of my chaos.

This company said, the order would be shipped standard delivery. Which meant the USPS

Instead, I got a telephone call from a woman who works for UPS. She wanted to know AGAIN, What my address was. I told her AGAIN. I was puzzled as to why, she was asking me this, since I placed both my P.O. BOX number, as well as my physical address on the order form

Apparently nothing happened. I checked the tracking, and nothing had changed.

I looked up customer service for my local UPS, but got the other offices. I talked with an agent, and tried to explain to her, something is taking too long for delivery.

She told me, they couldn’t figure out my delivery address.

UPS has been to my town, neighborhood, and even my house many times before.

I couldn’t believe what she was telling me.

She took down my delivery address AGAIN.

I called her again, to ask her, if I would be receiving my package, today, tomorrow, or EVER?

She told me that ‘same day’. Well,l that same day came and went, and no package.

I talked with customer service of the company, I ordered from in the first place. They never gave me an option how I wanted my package sent to me, in the first place .

Furthermore these people lied to me, and told me, I would recive my package in the mail.

All I have gotten from UPS are lies.

I was so angry, I accused UPS of theft,

The operator assured me, “that’s not what’s going on”.

    Then what is going on?

Some of these companies are living and dying by UPS

UPS sh—gt, thieves, scumbags, NO-SHOWS, can’t find their way out of a wet box.

UPS has no customer service- only lip service- their drivers are routinely rude, block private driveways for long periods of time with no apology or anything- infact they act like those spots belong to their ancestors and that we should just suck up and deal with it no matter how long. They never knock or ring bells and lie saying they did ! Hate them.

I agree, UPS is mismanaged at every level.

I also ordered a piece of furniture from a company that uses UPS for delivery. The company has sent my order promptly, but… it’s been almost a MONTH that I can’t get my order!

The FIRST TIME my package was broken and discarded during delivery.
The SECOND TIME my package came broken into complete trash, with all pieces falling out of the package…
As if this is not enough, the THIRD TIME the driver came when I was absent and didn’t even leave any delivery notice, as they are supposed to do. So, if my concierge didn’t tell me they came, I would miss my package altogether.

I called to UPS to reschedule delivery. It turned out the this driver put in the system a comment that I agreed to pick up my parcel myself!!! It’s a complete lie! I never even saw him nor spoke to him, plus I don’t even have a car to pick up this heavy piece of furniture.

I arranged the second delivery with the customer service. They said to expect a call the next day. The next day a guy called me and told that the package would be delivered tomorrow and I have to stay at home all day from 8 to 5.

A dropped all my plans and stayed at home. NOBODY CAME!!!!!
I called customer service again. They said somebody would call me back. An hour later there was a call back from some guy that said that SOMEBODY, HE DOESN’T KNOW WHO messed up again and he caught my package leaving my city at the last moment!!! He said that it would be delivered TOMORROW again, so I have to stay at home again and wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was fed up with all this messing around and decided to call customer service and leave a complaint about all this situation. A representative listened to me and told that my call would be returned in an hour. I hoped that a supervisor would call me for a follow-up. NOBODY CALLED!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know why people still use UPS. I personally would never even consider them for shipping my items. UPS is completely broken at every level- from delivery drivers to customer service. There are so many complaints. Why people put up with this? The only thing that will make UPS listen to customers’ complaints is STOPPING TO USE THEIR SERVICE!!!!!!

You people are a bunch of whinners. I have worked for UPS for several years and I am outraged by your sense of entitlement and bull shit. Ups drivers do their best to acomodate customers and deliver their packages on time
However you forget that this dedicated drivers hAve to put up with stress, crazy traffic in order to get your crap delivered on time.

And if this doesn’t happen for reasons beyond the drivers or UPS control you don’t hesitate to call in an put a complaint on a driver who has the same rights as you ” customers” to a good name and reputation.

When you file a complaint you are sending a good driver home extremely stressed out. Your senseless bs complaints have ruined many marriages because its extremely hard to be a good husband and parent when you don’t know if you will be losing your job as a consequence of your bs complaints. Get a grip

Their CSRs and online chat personnels (one name Victor and the other I forgot) really sucks, very rude! I had to speak to 3 employees and all three didn’t know what they were doing, they sent me to additional resources to answer my questions when I’m talking to a live representative. The are almost like interns or children. I hope someone from HR sees this. I will never recommend UPS to any of my clients. 11-8-2016 @ 10:46am

UPS tells drivers to deliver all your packages. No Send agains. The new contract lets drivers off the hook to get them to the right house.

I’m the general manager of a pizza hut. My ups driver is scheduled to deliver our paychecks every other Monday no earlier than 9:30. Every time they get to my store before 9. I set this time up to ensure we are there to sign for the checks. Now the real frustrating part is that sometimes they just will leave without us reciving our checks and other times they will proceed to give our package (very important paychecks) to our neighborhooding buisnesses. How is this even legal. I’ve had multiple conversations with them without much luck. I love it so much “oh I’m so sorry about that let me make it right” then the very next time the mess it up again.
