Whose is this?

Whose Weave Did Hurricane Sandy Literally Snatch?

I’ve been watching reports of Hurricane Sandy’s damages and I’m praying for my East Coast friends and family. It looks so treacherous and terrible. This is no Hurricane “Sneeze a Lil” Irene. This storm is completely about that doing the most life and I’m not here for it. I hope you all stay safe!

But I see there’s already been a victim. Big Sandra got its first victim, y’all.

Hurricane Sandy hair weave First Victim

Chile, someone’s horse hair weave wound up in a tree. Hurricane Sandy is out here literally snatching wigs. Somewhere, a woman (or man) is missing her phony pony and she has my sympathies. A horse in Detroit lost its tail in vain and we should offer up our condolences.

This yaki is gon too soon. Well, before it could be sewn in, anyway. This is a tragedy of follicular proportions. *pours out a little pink oil lotion in its honor*

But for realsies, stay safe in this storm, y’all! And I need you to stay indoors too! This didn’t have to happen I see some of y’all are tryna be Instagram superstars and playing outside to capture great shots. NAWL, B! STAY YO ASS INSIDE. This is a PSA from your local caring blogger.

Soooo whose weave is this? Why didn’t this person hold it down on their heads? Did their bobby pins fail them? Did they get it outta the tree after this pic was taken? So many questions.

I have real. life. tears. in my eyes from hollering and stifling laughter. Oh my god. When you said ‘a woman (or man)’ I lost it. I was no more good after that.

Hahaha!!!! That is just too funny! Winds so strong your wig went flying! Man. Too funny.

On a more serious note. I really do feel sorry for those badly affected by the storm though. So glad I wasn’t one of them. Didn’t realize how bad the hurricane was til days later. Gas stations are shut down in parts of NY and NJ at the moment. It’s just bad!!
