Armani’s Instagram Mistake Led to #ArmaniCaptions, Twitter’s Latest Roast
Tonight, Armani failed with flying colors when they posted a picture of Alfre Woodard with the caption “Idris Elba posing in a gorgeous Giorgio @armani dress at the 5th Annual Governors Awards.” OMGGGG ALL THE FACEPALMS THAT EVER FACEPALMED!!! They took it down soon after when people were like “SERIOUSLY?!”
Naturally, a hashtag was born from this utter FAILURE. Created by @FeministaJones (according to a couple of folks who tweeted me), dragging them up and down and sideways. And I laughed so hard I cried at some of them. Good times.

In all honesty, I do believe that this was a case of a sloppy intern posting the wrong caption under the wrong picture (since Irdis WAS at the event), but the Black Twitter aftermath was hilarious. The fact that people were posting pictures of Lil Mama as Bow Wow for the hashtag was unbearably funny.
