Getting RED-Y

Yeah, I’m wack for that title. You’ont gotta tell me. You’ONT KNOW MY LIFE AND MY STRUGGLES!!!

Anywho, I won’t be posting much this week. I’ll be too busy trying not to go gray with all the preparation for this week’s “Rock the Red: Bold. Fashion. Awareness.” show. Like for realsies. This is the biggest event that Red Pump has had (in Chicago, anyway) so far. And it must (and will) be PRISTINE! We’re celebrating our first birthday (woo hoo!!!), commemorating National Women & Girls’ HIV/AIDS Awareness Day AND honoring the DIVA Rae Lewis-Thornton with an award. 2,536 hoes must be slain upon completion of that show, so I’m ON THE GRIND until then. Y’all understand, don’tcha?

These BAD ASS shoes were created custom by Eidia Lush, one of our show’s sponsors. Tell me… how many hoes do you think were slain upon sight of these shoes?

It launches at the show, and we’ll have a silent auction for a pair. The buckle is made of swarovski crystals. Whoever wins them will be the FIRST to own it anywhere. These are some EXCLUSIVES! I’m kinda salty I can’t bid on them. TRUST I’da been in that piece like “GIMME THEM!” But I don’t want folks to give me the side-eye.

So Chitown AweLuvvers. Are you coming? Didju buy your ticket? We’re fresh OUT of VIP tics but reg’lah seats are still available. Come on and GETCHU A PIECE!!!

P.S. I’m feeling generous. I’m giving away a pair of the tickets to the show. All you gotta do is comment here and say you want to come to the show (and leave your email address). Will have my Mama pick a winner tonight so the person will know by morning. So… yeah, speak or forever hold your red pumps.

Sounds awesome. I love Chi-Town, but I'm in DC. So, much success on your event.
